After purchasing your Pensacola Pass (PP) online, you will need to pick up your tickets and vouchers at either the Pensacola Bay Cruises kiosk at Pensacola Beach (400 Quietwater Beach Road) or the Go Retro depot in downtown Pensacola (610 N. Spring Street). Simply show the agent a printed copy of your proof of purchase.
With your tickets and vouchers, you will be able to visit the venues at your own leisure over the next three days.
From Pensacola Beach, you will be able to board the Pensacola Bay Cruises ferry, traveling to either Ft. Pickens to visit a Civil War era fort and batteries that were used up to 1947, or go to downtown Pensacola, where you can board the Go Retro Hop-on Hop-off Tour (HO-HO) and get familiarized with greater downtown Pensacola.
There are 14 stops, offering a variety of things to do. Your wristband will allow you discounts to nearby restaurants, shops, museums, etc.—over $100, in fact. A PP voucher also will gain you access to the Historic Village and Museums at Stop #2. There you will be able to explore living history, several historic buildings, and four museums. Also, while on the HO-HO, you will be able to tour the Quina House—oldest house in town (Stop #3), the first replica of the Vietnam War Memorial outside of Washington, DC (Stop #4), St. Michael’s Cemetery (Stop #7), where Confederate Secretary of the Navy, Stephen R. Mallory is buried. Advance to Stop 8 and walk to the Pensacola MESS Hall, where you can face challenges in science, technology, engineering, or math for great family fun. Later, at Stop 9, you can explore the monuments commemorating Ft. George (Revolutionary War) and Confederate dead. You will even get to eat a complimentary gelato ice cream, complimentary of Joe Patti’s Seafood (Stop #12). For a bonus, you can travel in your own car and visit the Chappie James Museum (1608 MLK Jr Dr).
On another day, you might want to take a Jolly Sailing Dolphin Cruise. Be sure to reserve your seat at 850-723- 6142. Most travel there in their own vehicle to Pensacola Beach to board the boat. Look for the Jolly Sailing sign at the Pensacola Beach Marina (655 Pensacola Beach Blvd) and give them your PP voucher. The cruise lasts about two hours. Soak in the sun, sights, and hopefully see some dolphins. Water and snacks are included for PP holders.
Lastly, either with your own car or on the Go Retro Heritage Tour (only Fridays and Saturdays), you will want to go to the Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum (2081 Redford Blvd), where with your PP wristband you can Climb 177 steps to experience one of the most breathtaking panoramas! Afterwards, go across the street to the National Naval Aviation Museum (1750 Redford Blvd) and explore the largest and most detailed museum dedicated toward the history of U.S. Naval aviation. In 2017, CNN ranked this museum among the top ten war museums in the world! Inside see dozens of aircraft, artifacts, and other exhibits. For extras, show your PP wristband, and get complimentary popcorn with a big screen movie theater purchase and a ride aboard the flight motion simulator. Remember that both the lighthouse and aviation museum are located aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. This means that you will need to enter and exit the base via the rear gate on S. Blue Angel Parkway. Be prepared to show the gate guard a photo identification card to enter the base.
If you do not plan to go on the Go Retro Naval Heritage Tour, you should use your PP voucher to reserve a seat for any other Go Retro Ghost Tour, which are published online at www.goretro.us. Simply call 850-466-5220 or have reserved your seat online at time of purchase.
Remember that the PP is valid for only three days upon activation. Please review the operating times and hours of the various attractions to maximize utilization of the pass.Purchase Now
